University Libraries: Faculty Book Talk by Tazeen Ali

Assistant Professor of Religion and Politics Tazeen M. Ali will offer a talk on her first book, The Women’s Mosque of America: Authority & Community in US Islam, for Washington University Libraries. The book analyzes how American Muslim women assert themselves as religious actors in the U.S. and beyond, using the Qur’an as a tool for social justice and community building.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A, and refreshments will be provided. Free and open to all; registration required.
