Join us for this special screening of the new documentary “The Judge” that tells the story of the Palestinian judge Khulud al-Faqih – the first woman to be appointed as a judge on a religious court anywhere in the Middle East.

The screening (81 min.) will be followed by a panel discussion featuring the film’s award-winning director, Erika Cohn, who will be joined by Washington University faculty members Tazeen Ali and Nancy Reynolds; David Warren will moderate the conversation. A reception with light refreshments will follow the discussion.
