Voices of the Future Deliberative Polling Event
Saturday
11:00AM–5:00PM
Virtual
TBD
The John C. Danforth Center on Religion and Politics would like to share an opportunity with WashU students:
Voices of the Future is a chance for the next generation of young Americans to set a policy agenda for the nation. We want you to be part of it!
The event is designed to capture the perspectives of a diverse group of young people, between the ages of 18-29, when they learn about and discuss some of the nation’s most pressing public policy issues.
The proposals discussed at “Voices of the Future” are carefully balanced and vetted by experts from across the political spectrum. Results from the event will provide a unique window into the views of young people in the United States and will inform the Youth Summit for American Democracy. Participants in past Deliberative Polls have enjoyed the opportunity to discuss important policy issues with others from across the United States whom they wouldn’t normally have an opportunity to meet.
The event will use a structured deliberation model based on Deliberative Polling.
To join us, please complete this form by Nov 1.
We hope you will join us for this important event. If you have any questions, you can reach us at deliberation-support@lists.stanford.edu.
Sponsored by the Our Common Purpose Project of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences and the Stanford University Center for Deliberative Democracy.
