The John C. Danforth Center on Religion and Politics hosted a panel discussion on the role religion played in the 2010 midterm elections.

Washington University’s Gerald Early, Director of the Center for the Humanities and Merle King Professor of Modern Letters was the moderator.

About the Participants

Shaun Casey – Visiting Fellow at the Center for American Progress, Associate Professor of Christian Ethics at Wesley Theological Seminary, political advisor, and author of The Making of a Catholic President

Melissa Rogers – Director of the Wake Forest University Divinity School’s Center for Religion and Public Affairs, Nonresident Senior Fellow of Governance Studies at the Brookings Institution, and steering committee member of the Religion, Politics, and the State Group of the American Academy of Religion.

Michael Cromartie – Director of the Evangelicals in Civic Life and Religion & the Media programs and Vice President of the Ethics and Public Policy Center, senior advisor to the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, and a senior fellow with The Trinity Forum.
