Marie Griffith and Leigh Schmidt Appointed to Distinguished Lectureship Program
The Organization of American Historians (OAH) has announced the appointment of two Center faculty members, R. Marie Griffith and Leigh Eric Schmidt, to its prestigious Distinguished Lectureship Program. The announcement was made on May 18, 2015, and indicates a group of 48 new speakers, who join more than 400 other OAH Distinguished Lecturers who speak to audiences across the country each year. The lecturers promote understanding and appreciation of all facets of U.S. history from the 1600s through the present.
