This conference will bring together graduate students from across the United States, to generate insights into how religious communities have influenced and reacted to sexual revolutions throughout this nation’s history. See here for the full conference schedule.

Rebecca L. Davis, associate professor of History and Women and Gender Studies at the University of Delaware will give a keynote address at 5:30 p.m. in Umrath Lounge, entitled “Religion, Marriage, and Sexual Counterrevolutions.” Davis is the author of More Perfect Unions: The American Search for Marital Bliss (Harvard University Press, 2010) and is currently writing a history of religious conversions in mid-twentieth century American culture.
