Hold That Thought delves into the topics of religion and politics in its current podcast series featuring Center faculty and guests. Each interview considers historical cases in which these two emotional subjects overlap, including debates over birth control, the economics of oil, and more. The podcasts released to date include interviews with Marie Griffith, Darren Dochuk, Laurie Maffly-Kipp, all members of Center faculty, as well as David Hollinger, University of California-Berkeley, who was the featured scholar at the inaugural Danforth Distinguished Lecture Series event in November 2013.

Hold That Thought is a project of Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis and aims to bring academic inquiry to a broader audience, with the unifying concept of exploring the many ways that researchers tackle issues affecting individuals, societies, and our worldwide community.
